The Protein Expression Facility at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem functions as a research and education center for scientists wishing to train in fields ranging from gene cloning to protein production for functional and structural characterization. 

This infrastructure facility operates via: 

1. Long term collaborations on basic science projects for structure-function aspects. We assist in the rationale design of such projects and continue providing the scientific support throughout these projects.
2. Testing, improving and implementing novel techniques and kits for gene cloning and protein expression in bacterial and insect based systems.
3. Teaching scientists via individual training, workshops and courses.
